I am a Christian, Father, Husband, and a Conservative with a strong passion to serve the community that I live in.
I was born and raised in the small town of Brazoria about 60 miles south of Houston. In 2003 I attended the Police Academy and graduated at the top of my class. I began my career in Law Enforcement as a patrol officer for the City of Angleton. During my career in Law Enforcement, I held the positions of Patrol Officer, Patrol Sergeant, and Felony Investigator. I met my wife, Cheryl, while she was working as an attorney in Houston. We married in 2007 and in 2011, when our oldest daughter was ready to start school, we settled down in my wife’s hometown of Tyler. I opened a Private Investigation business specializing in insurance fraud cases and civil process and my wife opened her law firm. For the past several years I have been fortunate enough to work alongside my wife at her law practice handling a wide variety of both civil and criminal cases and serving the community of Smith County.
The experience that I was able to gain as a law enforcement officer, a small business owner, and as a law firm administrator has given me the experience and education needed to be ready to serve as the next Justice of the Peace starting on day 1. At an early age, my parents instilled the value of hard work and strong moral values. Smith County Precinct 4 deserves a Justice of the Peace with experience, strong values, integrity, compassion, and a hard-working attitude.
